Full-length movies available on Nokia Nseries


After its Spider-man 2 operation in January 2006 in The Phone House’s retail shops, Nokia France and Actimagine partnered to release the full length movie OSS 117: Le Caire nid d'espions for Nokia N73 mobile phones. Thanks to Mobiclip™ Video Codec, everyone could enjoy a unique cinema experience on their Nokia N73, including full-screen video and DVD quality for more than 7.30 hours without recharging the phone’s battery.

In February 2007 in South Africa, Sony Pictures, SterKinekor Home Entertainment, Nokia and Actimagine partnered to release The Da Vinci Code for Nokia N80 mobile phones. A 512MB miniSD movie card featuring the movie was given exclusively for a limited period of time to Nokia Nseries customers when they purchased or upgraded to a Nokia N80 multimedia computer.

In May 2007, Nokia, Studio Canal and The Phone House have joined forces to celebrate the DVD launch of the film “Prête-moi ta main”, written and produced by Alain Chabat, by offering the entire film in DVD quality on a miniSD card for €1 to those purchasing a new Nokia N73, N76 or N95.

In August 2007, Nokia, Sony Pictures Home Entertainment and Actimagine brought  the blockbuster movie Ghost Rider to the Nokia N73 and Nokia N93i Mobile Multimedia computers. At select retail outlets, in the Middle East and Africa, customers who purchased a Nokia N73 and Nokia N93i mobile multimedia computers also received the Sony Pictures blockbuster film Ghost Rider, starring Nicolas Cage and Eva Mendes, on a 1 GB mini-SD card playable on the handset and exclusive to Nokia.

In September 2007, during the Rugby World Cup, Nokia, Studio Canal and Actimagine offered new buyers of the Nokia N95 the entire documentary ‘Inside the All Blacks’ on a miniSD card, exclusively from The Phone House. In order to offer its users unrivalled video playback quality on the mobile telephone, without affecting the length of battery life, Nokia has once more called on the company Actimagine and its video codec Mobiclip to encode this documentary on a 2GB microSD card.
